Thanks very much for writing.

I'd be happy to have the wget ideas on the project page (and hopefully
even get them funded :) but of course we need a mentor.  I will write
Micah now, but if he hasn't even answered your email, I am a bit
doubtful that he will be able to commit the time to be the mentor.

Is there anyone else you can think of to ask?  The only other person I
can think is the original wget author, and I kind of doubt Hrvoje wants
to dive back into it.
