May be extra parameter in config?

libSonicFactor <percentage>

where '0' means 'do not use libSonic'?
In this case speed 0 or negative will not use sonic...

Or something similar?

O used sonic for Ivona voices (subtitles reader) and natural voices 
(audiobooks correction) with excellent results.
