hi all
I've just subscribed to this list and am fairly new to linux. I've been
using voxin as my primary synth for about a week and a half, but I have
a few questions that I hope aren't too technical. When I use windows,
mainly a vm nowadays, I use eloquence there too, and i have a dictionary
file of pronunciation fixes that eloquence mispronounces. Looking
through the speech-dispatcher source I see that the main and root
dictionaries which is where pronunciation fixes go aren't enabled in the
ibmtts.c file. I know next to no c++, but I kno both the eci command to
call and enable them, and I also have a driver for nvda which uses those
dictionaries if code is needed. I want to add this feature, because
there are quite a few crash words that if encountered which will cause
voxin to fail completely, returning an error in libibmbmeci.so. Sorry
for the technical stuff. I'll gladly help if I can.
thanks
Kendell clark
