Speech Dispatcher and Festival

Hello all,

I'd like to draw your attention to the following issue:

It would be very useful if the Festival module
was converted to run Festival as a subprocess
instead of interfacing it via inet sockets.

I'm sending the issue here in case somebody
would be interested in looking at it. People
who rely on Festival (high quality voices are
available for some languages) would welcome this
very much.
