I am > still getting the same error. This error is strange because SKS doesn't configure the locking subsystem. The only locks are what BDB uses internally for its transactions. Try running db_recover -h DB from /var/lib/sks. That will safely remove the BDB environment (__db.nnn files) Then db_recover -eh DB to recreate the environment as specified in DB_CONFIG -John
