Appears to be a missing '*' in '(*' on line 3.  Is not a clone
corruption, can see it in the source browsing on Google.

After that, the same issue I had with Kristian's source, which led me to
check upstream.  Could you please add "include ../Makefile.local" to
bdb/Makefile, before the CINCLUDES line?

My Makefile.local sets the same variables set by FreeBSD Ports, needed
to get the installed name for BDB, plus includes and libraries.
