Hello Michael,

I don't know why, but this particular problem has vanished, possibly
due to something I did or installed while compiling another
program. However, I am not yet able to compile skribilo, which depends
on guile-reader, which in turn depends on GNU lightning, but does not
support GNU lightning 2.x. Unfortunately, lightning 1.2 does not seem
to support my cpu. Configure says:
configure: error: cpu x86_64 not supported
I have succeeded in compiling the most recent release of lightning,
but that doesn't help me much.
Are there any plans to support lightning 2.x? If not, does anyone have
any suggestions how to do it myself?
While I cannot answer your question, I _can_ say that guile-reader has
an _optional_ dependancy on lightning. At least, that is the case for
guile-reader 0.6.1, against which I have compiled skribilo.
Cheers,
Roger
