I just got skribilo installed on a FreeBSD box (the error that prompted 
the message to the list manifested on Linux).  I am happy (?) to report 
that the error is present on FreeBSD too.

To answer your questions:  skribilo/utils/images.scm is not installed 
but it is present in the source tree.
