It is.  :-)

  - Check what ‘guile -c '(use-modules (system reader))'’ does.

  - If it bails out with “no code for module”, then Guile-Reader isn’t
    in $GUILE_LOAD_PATH, so you need to make sure $GUILE_LOAD_PATH
    points to it (which you seemed to have done in a previous message?).
