Hello,
We are planning to release the next stable version of GNU sed (version
4.6) before the end of the year.
One pending feature that will be added soon is the --debug
option [1]. No other major changes are planned (compared to the
current git version).

Any feedback, comments, bug reports, testing results about the current
version are appreciated.
