Hello,
I've to work on a machine which sets
PS1='\[\033]0;\h\007\033[0;address@hidden \[\033[0;35m\]$(date
"+%H:%M%d/%m/%y") \[\033[0;34m\w\033[0m\]\n> '
in .bashrc - I'ts not mine, so I cannot change that.
This works as expected on Linux (openSuSE 10.2)
address@hidden:~> screen --version
Screen version 4.00.02 (FAU) 5-Dec-03
On HP-UX screen freezes, when I start bash and the prompt is displayed (HP-UX
11.x)
u108034:/home/u108034 >screen --version
Screen version 4.00.03 (FAU) 23-Oct-06
Looks like this FAQ:
Q: When I type cd directory (any directory or just blank) from
within one of the windows in screen, the whole thing just freezes
up.
but I do not know why this works on linux and does not on HP-UX.
