I've spent the last day or two getting some extra stuff working in mine.. But anyway.. I don't really have any questions to be answered, as i've pretty much worked everything out.. with the help of the guys in #screen on freenode, and Google, of course. But i guess i'm here to help anyone else with questions in the future though.
the thing that annoys me most is that the escape sequence seems to be limited to a single control character. Since I use Emacs and speech recognition, it is extremely difficult to handle the different character sequences necessary for screen and non-screen environments.
What I would really love to do is get the screen escape away from using a single control character. I would love to make it a function key or even a makeup escape mumble sequence. Anything to keep my Emacs control sequences pure.
