==== Description: ====
assets-cli is a simple system to manage assets of a company. The most
important function is to extract the deprication for each asset for either
financial or cost accounting. Furthermore it can conveniently produce a
posting record. Those postings can then be used for accounting systems.

It follows the idea of ledger-cli (https://github.com/ledger/ledger).
Therefore all data is stored in plain text and can even be checked in a
version control system! In contrary to ledger-cli it uses YAML as input
instead of a system specifc input format.

==== Other Software Required: ====
YAML - MIT - http://pyyaml.org/wiki/LibYAML
GNU gettext - LGPL- https://www.gnu.org/software/gettext/
Check - LGPL - http://check.sourceforge.net/

==== Other Comments: ====
Still in development.
