==== Description: ====
The project has two main parts:

Mainly it was developed as finite element mesh (FEM) visualization tool. Not
only meshes can be rendered, but also simulation data. The filetypes that can
be loaded are mainly the text based files created by the open source mesh
generators tetgen and triangle.

Secondly it serves as a framework that provides easy data visualization for
arbitrary kinds of (physical) simulation.

Currently one plugin is realized for solving reaction-diffusion equations. It
supports multiple reaction diffusion models. It's aim is to be easy to use and
extendable.

The programming language is mainly C++. The project is developed and used on a
GNU/Linux operating system.

==== Other Software Required: ====
GSL - GPL - www.gnu.org/gsl
Fltk - LGPL - www.fltk.org
NetCDF - LGPL - http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf

mylibs - GPL - http://code.google.com/p/pyran/source/browse/#svn%2FCPP-libs

==== Other Comments: ====
We'd like to import an existing SVN project. How do we do this ?

This is the first project release. So there is no publicly released code yet.
The libs found in mylibs at
http://code.google.com/p/pyran/source/browse/#svn%2FCPP-libs are only a part
of the project.
