==== Description: ====
GNOME Nonogram is a Free Software picture logic puzzle game for the GNOME
desktop environment. It is a digitized version of a popular puzzle[1]
involving coloring a grid based on number clues to reveal a picture. This
puzzle is also known as Griddlers, Hanjie and Paint by Numbers.

It is being made using GNOME technologies[2] and coded mostly in
JavaScript[3].

GNOME Nonogram tries to supplement the games already available on the GNOME
desktop.

We have just started on the project and are yet to release any code (thus the
attached tarball is mostly empty). We will be committing code to the
repository regularly and will make a public announcement after three weeks
(when we will be ready with the first playable version of the game).

We are registering early as a good free software development practice to
encourage others to participate.

We aspire to make this program a part of the GNU project once it matures.
