==== Description: ====
fshash is a shell script to manage hashsum files of a filesystem.

Hard disks or storage in general can fail. fshash cannot prevent this but can
help you to verify correct data and detect any failure.

The idea is to keep a tree of hashsum files which correspond to a tree of
files. Each hashsum file can represent either a single file or a directory
and all subdirectories and all files in them.

fshash can generate and check hashsums. It also can show new files or add
them to the corresponding hashsum files. If files have disappeared fshash can
report it.

==== Other Software Required: ====
shell e.g. dash or bash and some shell commands e.g. cat, diff, find, grep,
mkdir, rm, sed, sort, uniq and xargs.

md5sum or a replacement e.g. sha256sum.

==== Other Comments: ====
No media files included in my project but I had to check the checkbox to
register the project.
