About the hardware acceleration, I am using 3D with a i810 driver. I just
played a 3D game called Balazar on the GNewSense GNU/Linux. It was a 10 FP/S,
though at 640*480. So, I think you should be okay. I haven't tested it yet. If
you need a tester, Savannah has a Help Wanted service.
