NITdroid is a kernel and userspace port from scratch of the Google Android
operating system to the NITs hardware. It is a software alternative to the
Maemo platform that ships with the Internet Tablets.

This project is an ongoing effort to make Android usable/useful on NIT
devices (N770 and N8x0_).

This is an active development effort to port Android to the Nokia Internet
Tablets. The development effort has been happening at the URL below since
December 2008, but its just not reasonable to support a software development
effort in a forum thread. We need a formal development environment that
welcomes and supports open source software.
