==== Description: ====
LSE (stands for Linux Security Engine) is intended to help the administrator
in securing endpoints.
LSE install an LKM (Linux Kernel Module) which check the hash of every
application user wants to run. If the hash isn't present in the whitelist, the
execution will be denied.
LSE helps administrator to protect endpoints against malicious applications
and unwanted applications.
LSE is mainly composed of a LKM and an agent (in user space). The kernel
module is written in C and the interface will be written in C++.
What makes this project special? It'll bring to administrators a reliable
solution to help them in protecting their computers.
==== Other Software Required: ====
If the user wants to compile the binaries himself then the GNU/Linux kernel
source code will be required. GNU/Linux kernel source code is provided under
GPL V2 licence.
This source code can be downloaded from http://www.kernel.org
