==== Description: ====
JarHunt is a simple Ruby/Rails app that allows you to upload and catalog jar
files that you work with every day. The jar files are then searchable, making
tracking down which class files belong to which java archive easy and fast.

The target audience for JarHunt consists of companies or consultants that
have large libraries comprised of in-house developed APIs as well as external
jar dependancies that are difficult to manage and track.

JarHunt's search capabilities include the use of SOUNDEX and the LIKE
operator to ensure that you get valid search results even when you do not know
the exact full name of the class you are searching for.

JarHunt was originally conceived of as a web application that could be used
globally as a repository for java archive files. However, after some time
with my current company, it became apparent that the dozens of in-house APIs
that we had could not be uploaded to a public website and made searchable.
With that, the idea of providing JarHunt as free software to help the
development community was born. A sample implementation of JarHunt can be
found at http://jarhunt.com
