==== Description: ====
Interactive web based tool for learning SQL by examples. SQLtutor consists of
two modules: a database of questions and answers and a simple CGI interface
for running tests. Questions are chosen at random for each session, submitted
queries are checked against correct answers stored in the database. Query
results differing only in column permutations are evaluated as correct. For
each session queries and answers are logged and the final score is evaluated
when the test is finished. SQLtutor is written in C++ with lipqxx library to
connect to PostgreSQL database. SQLtutor runs on GNU/Linux.
==== Other Software Required: ====
libpqxx http://pqxx.org/
==== Other Comments: ====
Currently I have just a set of exercises in Czech, so the number of people
who can benefit from the online version at
http://sqltutor.fsv.cvut.cz/cgi-bin/sqltutor is limited. But I hope that you
can get some idea how it works if you check "help" on the starting screen and
start the test ("continue"). Clicking on help during the test displays the
correct answer and you can try to submit it and experiment with it without
understanding the Czech question.
