Follow-up Comment #4, task #7387 (project administration):
"GêBR core team" is just an alias to the authors, which are specified in
AUTHORS file. But if this is not clear or legal, I see no problem in changing
this.
This inconsistency of licenses (GPLv2 ou v3) is mainly among distinct
subprojects (gebr, libgeoxml, gebrme, and gebrd). Again, I see no problem to
adopt GPLv3 for whole code.
About the distinction of "open source" and "free software", we tend to the
former just because, in our opinion, it seems more accurate, due to the
duality of "free" word. In principle, we agree with both, but like most the
former.
I will discuss your suggestions and advices with my colleages, and post
another message soon.
