qTelnet is a graphical telnet application written by Michalis Famelis in
2007

qTelnet allows a user to connect to a server's port, send TCP messages to it
and inspect the server's responses

qTelnet is written for Java 1.6.0_02 using Trolltech's Qt Jambi 4.3.1_01 (see
also next section)

The following libraries are needed to compile qTelnet:

java.io and java.net from the OpenJDK <http://openjdk.java.net/>, licensed
under GPLv2

Trolltech's Qt Jambi <http://trolltech.com/products/qt/jambi>, licensed under
GPLv2. 

Source code for Qt Jambi can be acquired at
<http://trolltech.com/developer/downloads/qt/index> for GNU/Linux on 32 and 64
bit x86 architectures.

qTelnet can be run using the HotSpot Java VM which is also licensed under
GPLv2
