  The purpose of the project is to create intelligent middleware for resource
mangement on the grid. Current grid software provides sophisticated
monitoring, discovering and querying mechanisms, however no automatic
resource matchmaking capabilities are given. The project is going to infuse
intelligence into grid by use of software agency. The main goal is to create
automatic matchmaking facility (resources-jobs).

The project will provide:
- automatic ontology-based matchmaker capability (matching resources with
jobs)
- economy model for pricing (commodity market model is going to be used to
model supply-demand characteristics of grid)
- possibility of defining high-level application requests, domain specific
requests that will be mapped to lower level resource descriptions
