  restyfuse is an HTTP based file system in userspace.

FUSE is a library/linux module which allows file systems to be developed in
userspace (in languages like Python, Perl or LISP).

restyfuse uses FUSE to provide a file system based on HTTP and some backend.
The current backend is in python but a backend based on Apache/PHP is a near
target.
