Description:

  Jato is a JIT-compiler for Java on GNU/Linux and IA-32. It is built on top
of JamVM. The long term goal of the project is to build a robust, production
quality JIT-compiler that can be used with a free software virtual machine
and GNU classpath to provide complete replacement for proprietary Java
virtual machines. Jato is distributed under the GPL version 2.
