Description:

  Boink! is a simple, desktop game that is casual, yet addictive.  It is a
Breakout clone with a few extra features and easy extendability.  The current
version delivers all the staples (bricks, paddle, powerups, etc) for a game of
this class.

Overall project goals:
Simplicity, in usability and gameplay
Fanfare, excite and reward the user for playing
Polish, things should just work with no fuss
Inclusiveness, anyone should be able to contribute in a number of ways
Fun, the most important goal of all

Future versions have more ambitious gameplay and media plans including but
not limited to: network play, online high scores, original score, SVG/Cairo
graphics and more.

License: GNU GPL, copyrights will be transferred to FSF for it to be GNU
application.
