######### REGISTRATION DETAILS #########
Full Name:
----------
Flatback - A simple filesystem archiver
System Group Name:
-----------------
flatback
Type:
-----
non-GNU software & documentation
License:
--------
GNU General Public License V2 or later
Description:
------------
flatback is the name of my project.
flatback is a backup program that runs under GNU/Linux.
flatback is liscenced under GPLv2.
The goals of the project are: create space efficent archives, don't have too
many library dependencies, don't rely on external binaries, keep the
available options simple, do allot of integrity checking and verification,
and seperate different tasks into different binaries.
The different binaries might be:
flatback - Create a flatback archive from scratch
flatcheck - Check the integrity of a flatback archive, etc.
flatrestore - Restore all or part of a flatback archive
flatsplit - Splits the archive into smaller or larger equalsized pieces
flatincrement - Create an incremental flat backup using information from
previous flat backups and the filesystem.
flatback and flatcheck are already written and they work.
Other Comments:
---------------
I do not have a dedicated webserver so I need to know who to email the
source to.
