Hello!
Yesterday I created an hg repository for cc-mode, having committed a dummy
file for the purpose.
Now, when I point my existing repository's .hg/hgrc at
ssh://acmacm@hg.savannah.nongnu.org/cc-mode and try
$ hg incoming
, I get the error message "abort: repository is unrelated".
How do I import the existing repository into Savannah? I couldn't see any way
in the documentation (page UsingHg) to do this - this documentation envisages
initialising a new repository with a dummy file, something I did.
Incidentally, I think I want to discard that hg repo from yesterday before
importing the old repo, so that the commit version numbers will stay the
same.
Please tell me what I am missing, and how I should proceed.
Thanks!
