Thanks for debugging this, Bob, and resolving the issue for the time
being.
The timeout we're looking for may be nginx's fastcgi_read_timeout
<https://nginx.org/en/docs/http/ngx_http_fastcgi_module.html#fastcgi_read_timeout>,
which defaults to 60s. It might be useful to try that some time
just to be sure, if we ever find ourselves needing to use it.
