Hi. I'm just responding because no one else has yet. Assaf set this up but he
is currently in the process of moving and will likely be too busy to respond
for a while.

I personally don't know anything about hgweb.  But if you would like to look
into it then here is a pointer to the hgweb project documentation.

I don't see any mention of markdown in the upstream docs.  But if you would
like to suggest something then perhaps it could be implemented.
