I was the one in charge of evaluating this project.

As you can see here:

the project was forwarded to the GNU evaluation team. Until it is approved as 
GNU, it stays non-GNU. Apologies, I didn't explicitely mentioned that point.

I dont understand why the project was categorised under "nongnu".

What would you like your list to be named?

Lists should follow the naming format of the project's name, followed by a 
hyphen, followed by the desired name of the list.  For example, address@hidden 
is a valid list name.
