I suggest you ask the WinCVS people - we are not Windows users. We are
providing standard CVS over SSH access, as SourceForge does for project members.

Summary: problems using cvs with windows xp
Original Submission: Hi,
I have a problem using wincvs and a savannah project.
Can you give me a description what I have to do to use it?
It`s described as anonymous CVS over SSH.
What I tried so far:
Installed putty.
Installed wincvs.
Tried to establish a connection: host: address@hidden
(connection refused as result)
How do I configure wincvs (vers.1.3)?
as root I chosed address@hidden:/cvsroot/
something like in the command line window:
cvs -z3 -d:ext:address@hidden:/cvsroot/project co project
results in a failure: ssh command ....
I would be grateful if someone could help me. I never used cvs before...
(unfortunaltey nor of my friends either)
Thanks and regards,
F.Wepper
