China
Containers 2004 organized by IBC Asia is taking place on 9-10 December 2004 in
Beijing, China. This forum will offer an unique insight
into the impact of Chinas push to inland logistics and the benefits of
investments along the Bo Hai Gulf, Yangtze and the Pearl River
regions.
The
emergence of inland markets is seen by many as an important and vital source of
future business and connectivity with ocean ports with impact on global markets
for liner shipping.
Inland
logistics has emerged as the single most important factor driving container
markets in China, with a direct link to economic activities and Chinas
emergence as a market beyond the traditional coastal
regions.
Experts
will deliver case studies and commercial observations on private & public
sector experiences in the benefits of developing China's inland logistics
infrastructure. Chinese
developments will then be compared to global market developments and trends in
freight, new building activities and industry issues to understand China's
importance in the global economy and as a driver of container
markets.
This
is the only forum for senior representatives from regional container industry to
evaluate opportunities, exchange ideas and network with key players from
regional and international shipping industry.
