The following project was submitted to Savannah. It needs evaluation to
become a GNU package, can you give it a look, please ?

Description: Asd is an Advanced Search and Discovery system for search in man 
page. It allow to make boolean search (and, or, not) on man pages, as a normal 
search engine.

A first but useable version of asd is downloadable from:
http://web.tiscali.it/Arpeda/asd/asd-0.1.tar.gz

It is, now, a simple script
./cadb to create a &quot;database&quot;
./asd &quot;word1 word2 || word3 ! word4&quot; to make a search

cadb use MANPATH enviroment variable, check that you have defined it.
