Yes it works :-)

Since I can login with "gavos" (case-insensitive) on the web site, I didn't
think at all about that. Maybe it should be precised in the FAQ
(https://savannah.gnu.org/faq/?group_id=5802&question=How_do_I_start_using_the_CVS_repository.txt)
to prevent this kind of problem.
