Description:
This PHP project was started to offer a tool to manage members and 
contributions for a french LUG (ALDIL). It is inspired by GAELLE (also on 
savannah, but quite dead). Galette relies on the adoDB library to support both 
MySQL and PostgreSQL (and probably more). Besides that, i also use functions 
taken from phpBB for the installation process (SQL dump parsing).

Galette is now used at the ALDIL, but there's still a lot to do to make it a 
more generic tool, useful for any association. Galette is in french but is 
ready to be translated, thanks to gettext (all string have been encapsulated).
