Description:
gvcd is a GPL'd frontend to mplayer/mencoder to create vcd compatible mpeg 
streams. It was designed in glade, and all the code is written in C.

At the moment the code can take input from any format that mplayer/mencoder can 
take, and will output an mpeg stream plus an xml file for use with vcdxbuild.

My goal of the project is to slowly incorporate all the steps to producing a 
vcd:

1 transcode the stream
2 create bin/cue files
3 burn

Currently it is a 1.5
