You should put them as comment.
Which language do you use for code within your pages?
If it's PHP, just add
<?php
// Copyrigth...
//
// Bla bla
// Bla bla
?>
on the top of the page. The server will not sent the
comment, while someone who browse the source will get them.

I will be applying soon to add a project to Savannah
and I know that with my previous project you wanted to
see GNU header information at the top of each file.
My question is that this project is a Wiki application
for the AOL Server and many of the pages are ADP pages,
which are HTML pages with code included in them.
I am curious how you want the headers handled in those
files as it seems silly (bandwidth) to include the GNU
header in each HTML and Stylesheet files.
What should I put at the top of them?
