A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Bruno Boettcher <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: zebot - irc-channel guardian
System name: zebot
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
The project concerns another irc bot written in perl and using the POE libs
(notably P:C:IRC ) From Rocco Caputo et al (under perl licence).
its a bot that evolved from a pure toy to a bot with basic functionalities as
channel camping, op-mode-distribution and other facilities (at the origin it
only emulated a dog, reacting with barking or biting to some predefined
triggers).
The project was hosted since now at sourceforge:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/zebot/ but their licence changes get more and
more scary.... so i would really love to be able to be hosted by you.
I don\\\'t know if that program merits to be hosted by you, as you can see from
sourceforge it is far from beeing a top-project, but i use that thing daily and
IMHO it has a rather clean design...
