My Project is a plugin for the popular Media-Player XMMS.
It is based uppon libmp3lame which is LGPL\'ed and XMMS (GPL).

The purpose of the plugin is to allow users of XMMS to output files to mp3. The 
plugin uses most of lame\'s options that are useful for daily work, while more 
are being added.

The project already exists and has been uploaded to the xmms-plugin-forum ( 
http://forum.xmms.org/cgi-bin/sporum/comments.cgi?op=threadlist&page=&sid=plugindev&cid=3751&view=collapsed&display=threaded&mode=
 ). Alternatively I can mail a copy of it on request.
