------------------ Additional Follow-up Comments ----------------------------
I'm afraid I don't quite understand what the problem is. I looked at the Gnokii
project Summary page and what i saw was that the 2 most recent pieces of news
have URLs in it (one http and the 2nd one ftp). They both look ok to me: the
URL is well formed both on the summary page and also on the news page itself.
Am I missing something here? If so please explain step by step what page you
are browsing and what is wrong with it.
Thanks,
Laurent
=================== BUG #1438: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================
Submitted by: pkot Project: Savannah
Submitted on: 2002-Oct-17 21:09
Category: News Mgr Severity: 5 - Average
Priority: Normal Bug Group: None
Resolution: None Assigned to: ljulliar
Status: Open Effort: 0.00
Summary: broken links in the news section
Original Submission: Hi,
I used to use (according to the hint on the news submission page) urls in the
news so they were clickable, eg:
http://vidar.gimp.org/logo/index.php
It worked fine. Recently it has changed. The HTML generated from the old news
looks as follows (I hope it will correctly get pasted here):
<a href="<a
href="http://vidar.gimp.org/logo/index.php>http://vidar.gimp.org/logo/index.php</a>">http://vidar.gimp.org/logo/index.php">http://vidar.gimp.org/logo/index.php</a></a>
The problem exists only on the project summary page not when I get into the
news itself. Two examples visible at http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/gnokii/
page.

Laurent, can you check this (bug_utils becomes harder to read, due to the
increasing number of lines :))

Hum, it's fixed in the news, but apparently not here! Links in that bug report
are broken too!
