Follow-up Comment #9, task #15267 (project reproduce):
Thanks for mentioning this Boud. The problem is that we don't yet install
**any** TeX package from source.
We just download TeXLive's script and let it download its own package manager
('tlmgr') and use that to download the necessary binaries. You can see this in
the end of the 'high-level.mk'.
This is indeed something we plan to fix and as you see in this task we have
made some progress, but we havn't had time to complete it!
Because TeXLive's packages aren't statically linked, this even creates bugs
like bug #56733!
