Thanks. So I've got:

/home/eric/repository/budget/index.php
/home/eric/repository/budget/rdiff-backup-data
/homer/eric/repository/experiment/rdiff-backup-data
etc. 

It should be OK to run rdiff-backup on /home/eric in that case?
