is there a way to delete a folder from the backup? Say that the folder
/var/www/remove is deleted and I want to clean up the /backup/store folder.
Is there some syntax like i.e rdiff-backup -v5 --include /var/www/remove
--exclude '**' --remove-older-than 2W /backup/store/ ?
Simply deleting the directory at the source will remove it from the
current mirror in the backup store (after you run rdiff-backup again
anyway).
If you want to remove it and its increments completely from the backup
store, I believe you'll have to wait for it to be purged by
--remove-older-than. Otherwise, you could probably try manually removing
the data but you'll likely regret it :-).
