Hi Andreas,

A bug was discovered in 1.1.14 in August: the regular expression for
quoting is actually much better in 1.0.x! I have fixed the bug in CVS,
but have held off releasing a 1.1.15 because I want to implement a
feature that will automatically re-quote your rdiff-backup repository
for you when the quoting requirements change (so that you don't have to
delete your old repository and start over).

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to test that feature rigorously yet,
or backport it to make it compatible with Python 2.3 (it uses a Python
2.4-only feature). I returned to school last month and since then have
been very busy. I hope that over the December holidays I can fix-up that
code and test it rigorously before release. I will also look into the
various bug reports that have popped-up on the mailing list during that
time (unless someone else handles them first).

Andrew
