Hi Philippe,
Yes, this looks like an error that could be caused by a missing directory.
Simply 'mkdir' the lost+found directory at the correct point in the
backup structure and try again.
If you are unsure where the directory belongs, try running the command
with "-v 6". This will display some information about what rdiff-backup
is doing and will tell you what file/directory it is trying to work on
before the error is caused.
