When using rdiff-backup to mirror a windows 2000
server onto a linux server following problem happens IF a file on the windows
side has a datestamp of 2078:
the file is backed up and stored as having the date
1942 on the linux side.
i spotted the problem right away and corrected the
problem on the windows end + deleting the mirrored file so it would be included
in next rdiff-backup
but ... I suspect that when i would have not
detected this problem that fast, rdiff might detect the file as been changed
over and over again (as it never saves the correct datestamp)
just my 2 cents ...
Im not subscribed to this list, so i wont be able
to read any comments on this.
im just bugreporting for this fine peace of
software ;-)
