So does it segfault if you just type 'rdiff-backup' with no arguments
(it should just give you an error message)?
It gives an error message, not a segfault.
How about for an initial backup -- 'rdiff-backup src dest' where dest doesn't
exist?
That works fine, as it does for a couple pre-existing destination
directories. It only segfaults on one particular directory. Is there
perhaps a file size limitation or a limitation on the total quantity for
backup?
