Thomas,
I am having challenges around which release of QEMU I should target my
work. I had been using 7.2.0-rc4. I recently installed 8.0.3 hoping
an issue I was having was fixed. (I found some posts with Google that
suggested that might be the case).
8.0.3 has introduced a new unexpected result. It seems to randomly
enter Program state (PSW bit 15 set to one). In one case, the SERVC
got a privileged-operation exception. In another, when reporting a cc
with a character string, the bit was set when 'info registers' was
issued.
None of the PSW's as assembled that I load have the Program state bit
set to one. However a storage overlay might be doing this. Something
new to research.
I have avoided github as just too bleeding edge.
>From experience, what recommendation, if any, with regard to moving
forward does the project provide? I understand my "use case" is
unique.
